| | Things for Marty have calmed down a lot. I figured out by talking with a nurse from the facility that Marty was not getting 2 of the medicines that he had been taking at Heartland. I'm not sure what happened. They were able to get him back on them last Thurs. and wow did they make a difference for him. He was able tao go to church on Sun. even. It went good. Then, we took him out for dinner tonight. It was good, but hard for him to go back. It was hard on all of us!! He continues to have PT and OT at the facility. Since things have calmed down for him, I am again trying to find an inpatient TBI center. That's a lot of work, but well worth it. He enjoys getting the mail while at the facility. Thank you for caring about him. Since things have calmed down with him, if you would like to visit you don't need to call me anymore. But please what happens with Marty, stays with Marty, even on the phone. It causes me a lot of grief sometimes, and I really have had my fill. Most people really respect that, but there are one or two people who take Marty's health into their own hands. Even to go as far as to tell Marty that he doesn't have a brain damage. Shame on you!! Do you realize what you did. Part of Marty's being able to want to go to rehab is the fact that Marty has to realize he has brain damage. His brain tells him he does not, so if he finds a person who says what Mart's brain says, he will deny the damage. Where does that leave us??? Please don't play neuro doctor with Marty. I've probably said way to much tonight, but I'm pretty frustrated. So I will say goodnight. Still praying, Julie |
